We where there up in park all the huge trees where blown over in one derection I was 10 years old had photos taken with ship in background not shore where photos are we had got train frome Auckland to Wellington

I lived in Seatoun heights Rd. And watched the whole thing unfold. I look at it everyday from my kitchen window.

I lived in Eastbourne and went to the beach in the morning and saw the broken life boats and discarded life jackets amongst the rocks, it was so scarry for a young boy to see.
