Panorama of the Grand Hall.

Refurbished in the 1990s, it was once the members' lounge, and billiards was played here. The room is now used for important functions.

Related commentary by John O'Sullivan, former General Manager of the Parliamentary Service

Once the members' billiard room, this room has now been changed back to its original purpose which was to be a linking room between the House of Representatives and the Legislative Council Chamber. Today it is used as a major function area in Parliament Buildings and it has been restored to its original design.
