Lion Rock, Piha war memorial

An Anzac Day procession makes its way to Lion Rock, Piha's war memorial in 1985 or 1986. The annual service is held at low tide.

The memorial includes two plaques. One lists the men, mainly from the Piha sawmill, who fought in the First World War. The second names men associated with Piha who fought in the Second World War.
