Wellington crowd welcomes Gallipoli wounded

Huge crowds met the first large group of Gallipoli wounded in Wellington on 15 July 1915 following the return of the Willochra. These people are waiting near Glasgow Wharf to greet the men as they land. Thousands more gathered along the route to the official reception at the Town Hall.
