Achi Baba panorama, Gallipoli

Media: Panorama (Pano2VR)

For best results we recommend viewing this panorama in full screen mode.

Panoramic view from the top of Achi Baba. Straight ahead in the distance is the village of Alçitepe (formerly Krithia). The Allied front line was in the area to its left. It was from this direction that the New Zealand Infantry Brigade made its ill-fated attack across the Daisy Patch during the Second Battle of Krithia, 8 May 1915. Scrolling right reveals the Sari Bair Range in the distance above the concrete edge of the enclosure. Further right is the entrance to the Dardanelles Strait.
