This is my grandad. This is an awesome photo. We only have it via newspaper cooy. Grandad and Nana adopted my dad, Bill at birth.
Dad said whilst he was loved and had a good childhood, life/work opportunities were hard for Grandad because of what he stood for (which dad and my generation benefit from). Grandad was a very good football player. He was a lovely man. Maria Wells
