Clevedon School war memorial plaque

Clevedon School's South African War and First World War rolls of honour are now housed in the Clevedon Hall.

After the Second World War the school committee resolved to erect war memorial swimming baths. A Clevedon School Second World War memorial plaque was unveiled at the school during the Clevedon centennial celebrations on 17 October 1952. However, the memorial swimming pool itself was not officially opened until 27 March 1953, when the school’s Second World War roll of honour was also unveiled. This roll of honour is now held at the McNicol Homestead.
