I was delighted to discover this memorial. My Uncle, Owen William Miles, is memorialised here, and nowhere else in Otago can I find a reference to him, or his name on a cenotaph.
He was born and raised in Dunedin and educated at OBHS.
Be assured he is not forgotten, a real hero in our family.
