One image shows a close-up of the makers' mark on the cast iron lamp standard. E.W. Mills were iron founders with offices in Lambton Quay and a foundry on the waterfront about where Shed 13 now stands. The company merged with Briscoes and became one of Wellington's largest importers and merchants in the early 20th century.

Hi, I note that the Newlands (Wellington) WW1 memorial is not included. How does a missing memorial get added to the list? regards Mike
