Commemorative 'Lone Pine' tree in the centre of the Services Section at the Rotorua Cemetery, grown from a seedling from the Lone Pine at Gallipoli. It was planted on 25 April 1965 by Victoria Cross winner Cyril Bassett.

A plaque beside it states:

LONE PINE
This tree which is from a seedling of the original Gallipoli Lone Pine was planted on 25th April 1965 by C.R.G. BASSETT V.C.
On the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli by the ANZACS
