The Myross Bush Memorial Community Centre was opened on 24 September 1954. The memorial gates outside pay tribute to men from the district who served in three wars, the First World War, Second World War and Korean War. The roll of honour inside the centre lists 25 men who served in the First World War, including eight who died; 21 men who served overseas in the Second World War, including two who died, as well as five men who saw home service; and one man who served in Korea.
