New Zealand troops move toward Gravenstafel Spur

Soldiers from the 4th Infantry Brigade trudge through the rain on the road back up to Gravenstafel Spur, 13 October 1917. Over 1200 4th Brigade men, along with other New Zealanders from various Divisional support and headquarters units, came forward that day to help clear the congested aid posts and dressing stations and bring in wounded still on the battlefield.
