This group photograph shows the New Zealand Army’s Special Air Service Headquarters Troop with the squadron’s mascot, a goat named Angus.

The photograph was taken at Waiōuru on 14 September 1955, when New Zealand’s recently formed SAS squadron was training for service in the the Malayan Emergency (1948–1960).

I have pictures of the first Secret Air Service tucket away. i have roughly 20 photos. also a 1914-18 war letter wishing a safe return home from King George iv. they were left to us by my partners late mother. we are looking for information on valuing these for insurance purposes.
