Ohinewai Roll of Honour

Ohinewai Roll of Honour

The Ohinewai hall was first opened in 1914. It was replaced by the new and enlarged Ohinewai Community Hall in 1994. The Ohinewai & District Roll of Honour, which hangs in the foyer of the community hall, lists 19 names from the First World War and 34 names from the Second World War.

See: Paddle-steamers, Pen-nibs and Pasturelands: A Centennial History of Ohinewai District, Ohinewai, 1983, p. 12.
