St John the Baptist roll of honour

St John the Baptist roll of honour

The First World War roll of honour at the Anglican Church of St John the Baptist, Te Puke, is a framed, hand-lettered and hand-coloured certificate that lists the names of 52 men and one woman (Mary Eleanor Hobbs) who served during the war and of fourteen men who died. The list of the fallen is headed with the name of Nurse Edith Cavell (not a Te Puke resident).
