St Paul's Church, Rangiaowhia

St. Paul’s church at Rangiaowhia was built for Ngāti Apakura before the Waikato War. It was a refuge for local people during fighting on 21 February 1864.

This church was standing at the time the troops csme and burnt anothet church down. I attend this church still stands today!

Is that the church that the clan (KKK) burnt down, after THEY told the people that there will not be any fighting,, we will stay peacefull like our lord jesus nd his father,, ( The deadliess mistake The tangata whenua made) ....
Trusting them so themen were expecting any forms or engagement nd the slaughtered or women childern nd elderly...kia mau te whenua , kia mau te whanua ki a puta manawa mo matao aroha Hi.........
