The Whangamomona hall, built in 1903, houses both the Whangamomona-Kohuratahi-Tahora First World War and Second World War rolls of honour. The former lists the names of 129 men who volunteered for service – these are inscribed on little metal tags attached to the wooden tablet – the latter lists 49 names.
The Whangamonona-Kohuratahi-Tahora cenotaph is situated at Kohuratahi, about seven kilometres east of Whangamomona.
