Mary Dall was born in South Otago in 1865 – the daughter of Thomas Dall, a farmer, and Ann Robertson.
Mary attended the Tokomairiro Grammar School – she did not marry.
When Mary signed the suffrage petition she was living with her widowed mother and her sister in Forth St, Dunedin.
Mary died on 18 June 1929 in Christchurch, she is buried in the family grave in the Northern Cemetery, Dunedin.
