Jessie Maria Goldammer was born about 1873 in New Zealand – the daughter of Carl Frederich/Charles Frederick Goldammer, a cabinetmaker and Devinia Japp. (See 51 Mrs Goldammer)
When Jessie signed the suffrage petition she was living in St Andrew St, Dunedin.
She married Arthur Severine Smith in 1903 - they do not appear to have had any children.
Arthur died at their home in Filleul St, Dunedin in 1928 and Jessie died on 3 September 1953, they are buried together in the Southern Cemetery.
