Ann Clark was born about 1847 in Surrey, England.
She had a daughter in 1866 and she married John Keen, a bricklayer, in 1868 in Buckinghamshire.
They had 2 daughters before the family emigrated to New Zealand.
They settled in Palmerston where they had a further 8 children.
Ann signed the suffrage petition in Palmerston. In the 1910s they moved to Dunedin.
John died at their home in Dunedin in 1927 and Ann died at her son’s home on August 3rd 1934. They are buried in the family grave in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
