Biography contributed by Katherine Blakeley

Isabella was born about 1820 in Ireland, she was married to R D Pike.

Two of her daughters (See 124 A B Palmer and 124 W M Pike) came to New Zealand in 1879 and Isabella must have arrived around that time.

When Isabella signed the suffrage petition she was living, either with or near, her daughters in Maori Hill, Dunedin.

Isabella died at her daughter’s home in Dunedin on 18 August 1906 – she is buried in the Northern Cemetery.
