Biography contributed by Katherine Blakeley

Agnes Pinkerton was born in 1872 in New Zealand — the daughter of David Pinkerton, a bootmaker and later a member of parliament, and Margaret Fairley. (See 61 Margaret Pinkerton)

When she signed the suffrage petition Agnes was living with her family in High St, Dunedin.

She married Archibald Sullivan, a finance agent, on 21 December 1898 in Dunedin and they had two daughters.

Archibald died in 1932 and Agnes died on 5 October 1951. They are buried with their daughters in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
