Agnes Alexander was born in 1870 in New Zealand – the daughter of William Alexander, a bootmaker, & Agnes Templeton.
When Agnes signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Leith St, Dunedin.
After the death of her parents she went to live with her sister in the North Island.
She died on July 9th 1961 in Nelson & she is buried in the Wakapuaka Cemetery.
