Agnes Gawler was born Agnes Tully in 1864 in New Zealand to Robert and Isabella Tully.
Agnes married Robert Pinney Gawler in 1893.
The 1896 electoral roll for Waitaki, Otago records Agnes and Robert living in Waimate. Robert was a Baker.
The 1911, 1914 and 1919 electoral rolls records Agnes and Robert living at Prebbleton. Robert was a Poultry Farmer. In 1919 they moved and the 1919 electoral roll for Canterbury, Riccarton records them living at 47 Buchanans Road, Sockburn. Robert was a Farmer.
Agnes and Robert had six children; Robert George born 1894, William Thomas born 1896, Charles John born 1897, Stanley born 1900, Annie Isabella born 1903 and Elizabeth Ellen born 1905.
Charles John Gawler served in the Army in WW1 and WW2.
Agnes died on 13 September 1934 age 69 years and is buried in Bromley Cemetery, Christchurch in Block 7, Row B, Plot 460.
Robert died on 27 July 1944 age 87 years and is buried in Bromley Cemetery, Christchurch with Agnes.
