Arabella Anderson signed the Petition with her mother Arabella, who had the same name.

Arabella (junior) was the eldest daughter of Arabella and Charles Anderson and was born in the village of Poplar, Middlesex. She came to New Zealand with her parents as a baby, and her siblings were born here. They lived in Rangiora. 

At school Arabella won prizes for maths, needlework and floristry. She was 21 when she signed the Petition, and three years later died suddenly while visiting friends in Wellington. She was 24 years of age.
