Caroline Eliza Browne was born in 1867 in New Zealand – the daughter of William Ferris Browne, a draughtsman, and Johanna Heenan.
When she signed the suffrage petition Florence was living in George St, Dunedin at her family home. Her sister Florence also signed the petition.
Caroline did not marry, and she died at the family home on 7 April 1915. She is buried in the family grave in the Northern Cemetery.
