Biography contributed by Katherine Blakeley

Christina MacDonald was born about 1854.

She married Arthur William Coham, a draper, in 1883 and they had five children, one who died in infancy.

When Christina signed the suffrage petition the family were living in Serpentine Avenue, Dunedin.

They later moved to Auckland, then to Gisborne.

Christina died in Gisborne in February 1917 and Arthur died in 1926 – they are buried together in the Taruheru Cemetery, Gisborne.
