Charlotte Terry was born in 1866 in New Zealand – the daughter of George Terry and Margaret.
She married Arthur Broad, a brushmaker, on 27 December 1887 in Dunedin and they had six children.
When Charlotte signed the suffrage petition the family were living in Six St, Opoho, Dunedin.
Arthur died in 1943 and Charlotte died on 17 September 1951, they are buried with their daughter in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
