Biography contributed by Katherine Blakeley

Annie was born about 1858 in Ireland and she came to New Zealand about 1867.

Annie could possibly be the Nanno Brown who married Harry Church in 1886.

Annie and Harry farmed at Purakanui, north of Dunedin - Annie appears to have signed the suffrage petition during a visit to Dunedin.

In later life they retired to Dunedin where Annie died on 4 April 1927 and Harry died in 1930.

They are buried together in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
