The 1893 electoral roll lists Alice Sarah Spensley, Isabella Baltimore Spensley and Ruth Spensley all as living at Riverside Ashbourne, Lyttleton electorate. On the petition 'A.G. Spensley's name appears between Isa. B. and Alice Spensley. There is no A.G. Spensley on the electoral roll, however.
