Geziena Henrietta Beekman was born in 1870 in New Zealand – the daughter of George Antoine Beekman, a baker and confectioner, and Maria Pyke. (See 46 Maria Beekman)
When Geziena signed the suffrage petition she was living with her widowed mother and siblings in Forth St, Dunedin.
She married John Kerr on 23 April 1902 in Dunedin, they do not appear to have had any children.
She died at her home on 15 March 1906 and is buried in the family grave in the Northern Cemetery.
