Henrietta Sandford (née Wood) was born 4 August 1870 at Leithfield, New Zealand. Her parents Lucy Ellen (Burt) and Alferd Augustus Wood.
On the 11 April 1893 Herietta married Samuel Sandford at the Registrars Office, Rakaia.
Henrietta died on the 15 November 1918 from influenza, at Christchurch Hospital aged 49 and is buried at Sydenham Cemetery, Christchurch.
Her mother Lucy Ellen Wood also signed the petition.
