Isabella Barclay was born in 1869 in New Zealand – the daughter of James Barclay, a labourer, and Christina Ireland. (See 81 C Barclay)
When she signed the suffrage petition Isabella was living with her family in Factory Rd, Mosgiel working in a factory.
Isabella did not marry and she died on 5 August 1900, she is buried in the family grave in the East Taieri Cemetery.
