This signature is most likely that of Jessie Cleghorn. Jessie was married to a builder named James Cleghorn, and lived at 5 Crummer Rd in Grey Lynn for many years. They had at least three children. After she was widowed Jessie moved to Herne Bay to live with her son. She died in 1918 at the age of 76.
