Jessie Dippie was born in New Zealand in 1865 – the daughter of Alexander Dippie, a carpenter, & Jane Ross. (See 56 Mrs Dippie)
When she signed the suffrage petition Jessie was living with her family in George St, Dunedin.
She married George Campbell, a stationer, on 12 June 1895 at her parent’s house.
They had a son two years later who died at the age of 19.
Jessie died on 10 November 1930, she is buried with her son in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
George re-married in 1933, he died in 1939 and is buried with his second wife also in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
