Jessie Moncur

Jessie (or Jesse) Moncur was born 6 May 1871 in Kinross, Scotland, to Andrew and Jessie Moncur.  In April 1883, aged 12, Jeanie arrived in Auckland, with her family on board the Rangitiki. Jeanie lived with her parents in Wynyard Road, Parnell in the 1890s. She married Albert Neilson, a plate layer, in 1916 and the lived at 3 Bronte St, Auckland Central. Albert died 1935, aged 56 and Jessie died 9 July 1937, aged 66 years. They were buried at Old Papatoetoe Cemetery, Auckland.
