Juliet Helen Rowlatt was born at Russell St, Dunedin on 12 May 1872. She was the daughter of George Frederick Rowlatt, a solicitor, and Helen Wilson Kennedy.
In 1908 Juliet married Buckland Kent Bennett, a farmer. They had no children and lived at Awahuri near Feilding in the North Island.
Juliet did charitable work to raise funds for the Red Cross & in 1916 was awarded first prize for a pair of knitted socks at a fund raising event.
Juliet died in 1945 and Buckland in 1954, they are buried in the Kelvin Grove Cemetery, in Palmerston North.
