Lucy Ann Greek was born about 1848 in Devon, England, the daughter of William Greek, a farmer, and Mary Ann Judd.

She emigrated to New Zealand and she married Angus Fraser Campbell, a carter, on April 27th 1871 at her sister’s home in Dunedin.

They had six children, one who died in infancy. When Lucy signed the suffrage petition they family were living in Josephine St, Caversham.

Angus died in 1908 and Lucy died on July 16th 1927. They are buried together in the Southern Cemetery.
