Maggie Kenny was born about 1871.

When she signed the suffrage petition Maggie was living in Adam St, Dunedin with her widowed mother Ann working as a tailoress.

She married George Mann Middleditch, a boilermaker, in 1902 and they had six children, one who died in infancy.

The family lived at Sawyers Bay, near Dunedin on the Otago Harbour.

Maggie died in July 1953 and George died in 1955, they are buried in the family grave in the Port Chalmers Cemetery.
