Biography contributed by Katherine Blakeley

Minnie Woollet was born in Dunedin in 1871 – the daughter of Samuel Peck Woollett, a jeweller, and Jane Collis.

Minnie married Richard Henry Lambeth in 1896 and they had two sons.

Minnie’s family spent some time in Invercargill before returning to Dunedin and settling at Macandrew Bay. Richard died there in 1924 and Minnie died in Invercargill on 9 May 1944. They are buried together in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
