Katherine/Kate Frances Early was born about 1857. She married Peter Rogan, a labourer, in 1883 and they had, at least, six children.

When Kate signed the suffrage petition the family were living in High St, Caversham.

Peter died in Dunedin in 1930, he is buried in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.

After Peter’s death Kate moved to Wellington where she died on 9 September 1933, she is buried in the Karori Cemetery.
