Biography and image contributed by Robbie Titchener:

Sarah Ann Myram was born in Sussex, England in 1851, the daughter of Henry Myram (a farmer) and Sarah (nee Scutt).  In the 1871 Census, she was working as a servant and, later that year, she married Thomas Loose, a farm labourer.

After the birth of their first two children, they sailed for NZ in December 1873, arriving in Christchurch in March 1874.  Unfortunately, their 8-month old son, Sydney, died during the voyage.  They would have another four children born in NZ.

I would like to contact the descendants of these people. We're not related but Thomas Loose could have been a friend of my Gt. Grandfather. I have some questions about Thomas that I'd like answers to.
