Thurza Sophia Lamb (nee Didham) was born to John and Eliza Didham in Dunedin in 1869. At school she won prizes for geography. In 1892 at the age of 23 she married William Belsham Lamb, an Australian butcher. They lived in Bradshaw St in South Dunedin. Most of the other signatories on this sheet of the Women’s Suffrage Petition also lived on Bradshaw St.

Thurza and William had three children; Gladys, Henry and Evangeline.

Thurza Lamb died in 1911.
