Farming locality near the stream of the same name which flows into the Eyre River, 7km west of Oxford.
Meaning of place nameNamed after either Edward Cooper, who at one time owned Peel Forest, or George Cooper, who came to the locality then known as Woodside from Banks Peninsula about 1865.
