Condolence letter

Condolence letter

A letter written to H. Weenink, father of (Robert) Frank Weenink, by R.E. Hayes, permanent head of the National Provident and Friendly Societies Department, in October 1916, shortly after staff learnt that their colleague and his son, Frank, had been killed in action. Hayes passes on the condolences of Weenink’s fellow officers.
